Now, the 'Piku' actress has shared a video flaunting her BAFTA look while revealing the track she is currently obsessed with.
Deepika Padukone shared a video from her photoshoot wearing the Sabyasachi saree for BAFTA. She attached the song 'Murder on the Dancefloor' by Sophie Ellis-Bextor along with the video and revealed that the song is her current obsession.

'Murder on the Dancefloor' is a song written by Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Gregg Alexander for Ellis-Bextor's first album, 'Read My Lips' (2001).While the song came out over two decades ago, it got revived recently and became popular among social media users.
In January 2024, following its use in the film Saltburn, "Murder on the Dancefloor" again reached number two on the UK Singles Chart, becoming Ellis-Bextor's first top-10 appearance since 2007. It entered the US Billboard Hot 100 at number 98 the same month, making it Ellis-Bextor's first appearance on that chart. It also peaked at number 10 on the Billboard Global 200, her first overall and top-10 entry on the chart.

Right after her appearance at BAFTA, rumours of the actress being pregnant started doing the rounds. Rumours suggest that Deepika was trying to hide her midriff as she is pregnant with her first child. The actress is said to be in her second trimester. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding Deepika Padukone’s pregnancy.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika was recently seen in the aerial action thriller film 'Fighter' opposite Hrithik Roshan. Helmed by Siddharth Anand, the film also starred Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, and Akshay Oberoi in pivotal roles and received good responses from the audience.
Deepika will be next seen in the sci-fi action thriller film 'Kalki 2898 AD' alongside south actor Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, and Amitabh Bachchan. Helmed by Nag Ashwin, the film will hit the theatres on May 9, 2024.
