Abhishek Malhan and Jiya Shankar were the most popular contestants of Bigg Boss OTT 2. The duo who joined the show as a pair, had shared a strong bond throughout the season.
Abhishek and Jiya, popularly known as AbhiYa, went from being enemies to close friends and even rumoured couple during their Bigg Boss journey. And now that Bigg Boss OTT 2 is over, the two are working on a song together. According to media reports, Abhishek Malhan and Jiya Shankar will be shooting in Chandigarh, for the same.

As fans wait to see Jiya and Abhishek together, the rumoured couple's first photo from the shoot of their song has gone viral. Abhishek looked smart in the photos, dressed in a black t-shirt and jeans. Jiya, on the other hand, looked stunning in her printed outfit.
Meanwhile, amid speculations of Abhishek and Jiya falling in love, the 'Pishachini' actress cleared the air, stating that she likes him as a person. Jiya explained in an interview with Telly Masala, "Our bond was very special. He is a very good friend I would clear that. When I say that I like him, I like him as a person, I like him as who he is. So that is why it is more than a friend. For me, ye wali cheez jab aati hai, I can't put them in a category.”
She further added that there are several meanings of love. “I love you ek romantic angle me hi nahi bola jata logon ko and it is good to express your feelings like that. Agar aapko koi pasand hai to bol do because kal ho na ho. Anything can happen tomorrow, life is too short. And I would love my people to know what I feel about them,” she added.
The much-awaited finale night of Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss OTT 2 took place on August 14. The Top-5 contestants of the show were Pooja Bhatt, Bebika Dhurve, Manisha Rani, Abhishek Malhan and Elvish Yadav. After a thrilling episode, Salman announced Elvish as the winner of the trophy. He defeated Abhishek in the Top-2 and became the first wild card to win the title.
