SEVENTEEN'S Hoshi shared an exciting interaction between him and BTS's Suga on his Instagram story on July 18. Hoshi happily revealed that he received a signed album copy of D-DAY from Suga. The album was autographed with a sweet message that read, "To Hoshi from Agust D." In response, Hoshi expressed his gratitude with a caption that said, "Thank you hyung!"

The newfound friendship between Hoshi and Suga aka Min Yoongi began when Hoshi made an appearance on Suga's YouTube show called 'Suchwita.' The show, an abbreviation of 'tipsy time with Suga' and a play on his song 'Daechitwa,' is Min Yoongi's very own talk show. It features Suga chatting with individuals from various fields related to music while enjoying alcoholic beverages and food.

Throughout the episode, they discussed the challenges faced by K-pop idols, including the physical toll and injuries they often endure. Despite their struggles, they said they felt not only a responsibility but also a passion to continue performing and supporting their fans. This shared understanding of the pressures and demands of the industry brought them closer together.

In Korean culture, 'sunbae' is a term of respect used to address an industry senior, and 'hyung' is a more informal term used to address and older male or one's older brother. Considering the difference of seniority between Suga and Hoshi, the latter was being extremely polite during his conversation with Yoongi. However, Suga immediately tried to put the SEVENTEEN member at ease, explaining, “You can just talk comfortably. You don’t have to be so formal with me" - and even readily agreed when Hoshi asked if he could call him 'hyung' instead. Fans of both groups were delighted to see their idols come together on screen!

After the show's recording, Hoshi and SUGA continued their bonding experience by visiting SUGA's studio. Despite being a bit tipsy, they had a great time together, solidifying their newfound friendship. The interaction between the two talented musicians, both known for their exceptional musical abilities, delighted fans and sparked excitement about their potential future collaborations or joint projects.

Suga is known to have enthusiastically interacted with SEVENTEEN multiple times. He had also invited the group's producer Woozi on another episode of Suchitwa. Yoongi also participated in a dance challenge when SVT's latest song, Haegeum was released. Suga recently completed his solo world tour of the Agust D trilogy, which also saw BTS members attend shows in support. Suga also announced three additional special shows which will be held in KSPO Dome in August.
