Janhvi Kapoor's Chennai home which was bought by Sriedevi is all set to welcomed select AirBnb users for a stay

Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor owns a palatial home in Chennai which is her childhood home. The house was bought by her late mother actress Sridevi. A couple of years ago, Janhvi had also given a detailed tour of the gorgeous home. Now, the home is available for public to live in. As a per a report by People, Airbnb has included the mansion in its list of 11 Icons properties that people can now rent out.
According to the report, Janhvi Kapoor is all set to open the doors of her Chennai home to select Airbnb users. The one-night stay would also include conversations with Janhvi about her “favourite beauty hacks” and “tasting fresh, authentic South Indian food.” This is the most intimate access to the most famous family in Bollywood," said Brian Chesky, Airbnb CEO and co-founder, at the launch of ‘Icons. ’Other pop culture spots that are also on the list include the real-life house from Disney-Pixar's Up (2009) in Abiquiu, New Mexico, the X-Men mansion in New York's Westchester County, Kevin Hart's members-only Coramino Live Lounge, a personal Doja Cat concert, Prince's iconic Purple Rain house in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and the Inside Out headquarters.

In an interview with The New Indian Express, while talking about the Chennai home, Boney Kapoor had said, "It’s very close to my heart, and I’ve renovated the whole house to seduce the children to come and stay there more often. When she (Sridevi) passed away, and a year before that, the children weren’t very keen on travelling to Chennai, because they didn’t have friends there, and they’d grown up in Mumbai.”
Boney said that the house wasn’t used extensively until recently. “Only the living room was used, and our room was used, but the rest of the rooms were locked. When rooms are locked, they get spoiled by moisture, so the entire house had to be redone. The ground floor was fine, but the first floor and guest block had to be renovated. Sri and I had made the guest block back in the day for Anil, Sanjay, our sister, and and our parents. The rooms all there still, but now Khushi and Janhvi have their own space now.”
Janhvi will be next seen in Mr. & Mrs. Mahi and Ulajh. She will also make her Telugu debut with Devara: Part 1.
