Singer Aditya Narayan recently made news after a video of him throwing a fan's phone during a concert went viral. He was performing at Rungta College in Bhilai, Chhattisgrah. The singer has now reacted to the viral incident.

When Aditya Narayan was asked about the incident during an interview with Zoom, he said, "Honestly, no comments. I am answerable to the Almighty. That’s all”.

The phone-throwing incident:

Singer Aditya Narayan, son of Udit Narayan, was performing the song 'Aaj Ki Raat' from the film Don at the concert when he was seen walking towards the end of the stage. He suddenly turned to his left, bent a little, and hit a fan with his microphone before snatching their phone. He then proceeded to throw the phone in the distance. The singer then continued with his performance and walked away from the crowd. However, it's unclear what triggered Aditya enough to behave in such a harsh manner.

The video has been doing the rounds on social media with netizens calling out Aditya for his 'poor' and 'rude behaviour'. Some also recalled his 2017 infamous airport incident when he threw a tantrum and abused the staff.

Aditya Narayan's 2017 airport controversy:

In 2017, a video of Aditya having a spat with the airport staff at Raipur. In a fit of rage, he went on to abuse the airport staff and also threatened an employee. The video of Aditya’s infamous spat went viral where he was telling the airline employee, ‘Teri chaddi nahi utari na, to mera naam Aditya Narayan nahi.’

Opening up about the Raipur incident, Aditya in an exclusive chat with indianexpress.com shared, “I kept quiet for all this while as I did not want to prod this matter further. It was an argument between two individuals and I never shied away from accepting that I was one of them. Unluckily for me, only I was given the spotlight in the 30 seconds footage that was doing rounds in the media. I think there are few people, who want to only look at other’s flaws, and they did it very well. Thanks to them the matter got escalated but trust me it wasn’t such a major issue. I apologized to the one I had to and they did so in return and the matter pretty much should have ended there. Anyone can have arguments and it was distasteful to use only my part of the quarrel against me and my family.”
