Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have been dominating headlines since October 2023 after a report about the two expecting their second child surfaced. Since then, there have been several speculations made regarding the actress's pregnancy. While the couple has not confirmed any reports surrounding the news, it has now been reported that Anushka Sharma will deliver their second baby in London. It is also claimed that Anushka's delivery date is only a few days away.
The reports of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli planning to welcome their child in London came after industrialist Harsh Goenka shared a tweet on their X account, which claimed that a baby is going to be born in a few days.

Harsh, while making the tweet, wrote, "A new baby is to be born in the next few days! Hope the baby takes India to great heights like the greatest cricketer father. Or will it follow the mother and be a film star? #MadeInIndia #ToBeBornInLondon." Although Harsh didn't name Virat and Anushka, he dropped the hint by calling the baby's father 'the greatest cricketer' while referring to the mother as 'a film star.'

Earlier in January, Virat's close friend AB De Villiers confirmed Anushka's pregnancy reports and said, “Yes, his second child is on the way. Yes, it’s family time, and things are important to him. If you are not true and genuine to yourself, you lose track of what you are here for. I think most people’s priority is family. You can’t judge Virat for that. Yes, we miss him, but he has made the right decision.”
Observers have noted that Anushka Sharma, who is 35 years old, has been conspicuously absent from public events and paparazzi sightings in Mumbai recently. This deliberate low profile seems to be an effort to avoid unnecessary speculation about her pregnancy. Additionally, it has been observed that Anushka isn't accompanying Virat Kohli on his cricket tours or attending his matches as she typically would.
