Dr Dwivedi, who studied medicine at the Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi, and worked as casualty medical officer, transitioned to birth work, when she was exposed to the transformative workshop of childbirth educator Dr Vijaya Krishnan. Over the last five years, she has worked with over 200 women where she has been a part of their pregnancy journey.

Dwivedi offers a seven-session programme in childbirth education, that’s also available online. It includes orienting mother’s to pregnancy (what to expect and prepare for); labour (how it will look, and tips to cope with it; healthy birth practices, breathing techniques); role of partners; C section; postpartum; breastfeeding, and caring for the newborn.
