Stock Market Crash Fallout: Piyush Goyal blasts Rahul Gandhi's accusations

Union Minister and BJP Lok Sabha MP from Mumbai North parliamentary constituency, Piyush Goyal, launched an attack on Rahul Gandhi for alleging a stock market scam after the market’s crash on June 4. Rahul Gandhi accused PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman of being involved in the alleged stock market scam. Rahul Gandhi alleged that it’s a scam of 30 Lakh crores and the common people of India lost the alleged amount of money. Piyush Goyal blamed Rahul Gandhi for misleading market investors. Piyush Goyal said, “Rahul Gandhi has still not overcome the loss in the Lok Sabha Elections. Now, he is conspiring to mislead the market investors. Today, India has become the fifth-largest economy.”

Sensex tops 60,500, Nifty50 crosses 18,000 | Indian Stock Market

The Indian stock market rallied for the fourth straight session on September 13. At 9.23 am, the Sensex traded at 60,454.35 points, up 339.22 points or 0.56 percent, while the Nifty traded at 18,040.85 points, up 104.50 points or 0.58 percent. Among the Nifty 50 companies, 47 advanced and the rest three declined this morning, National Stock Exchange data showed. Prior to last Thursday, the benchmark indices - Sensex and Nifty - fell for two sessions on the likelihood of aggressive rate hikes in the US to fight inflation as indicated by the US Federal Reserve.
