PM Modi Performs Sewa At Gurudwara Patna Sahib In Bihar, Serves Langar

PM Modi on 13th of May visited Gurudwara Patna Sahib where he offered prayers and participated in serving food to devotees. He performed Sewa at Gurudwara Patna Sahib In Bihar. This comes amid the fourth phase of polling in the Lok Sabha elections. Eyeing on the remaining 26 seats in Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a 2-day visit to the state. The Indian Prime Minister performed ‘seva’ and served langar from a steel bucket at Gurudwara Patna Sahib in Bihar. In the video PM Modi can be seen wearing a saffron turban and serving langar. Prime Minister Modi also lent his hands to the Gurdwara management in cooking food for the langar. In 2019, BJP-led NDA swept Bihar by winning 39 out of 40 seats, while Congress won just one seat. RJD, a formidable force in the state failed to open its account.

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Chairman S Somanath on Tuesday said that the mission to the brightest planet in the solar system, Venus is already configured adding that payloads have been developed for the future mission. Addressing the Indian National Science Academy in Delhi, ISRO chief Somanath said, "We have a lot of missions in the conceptual phase. A mission to Venus is already configured. Payloads have already developed for it." ISRO chairman further stated that Venus is an interesting planet and exploring it will help answer certain questions in the field of space science.

Chandrayaan-3: NASA, Putin congratulate India on Chandryaan's successful landing

India on August 23 scripted history by becoming the first country to successfully soft-land on the moon's south pole. Following the landing, congratulations poured in from all across the world including major space giants NASA and the UK Space Agency were among the ones who congratulated India immediately after it landed on the moon. Taking to X Handle, NASA’s Bill Nelson said that “We are glad to be your partner on this mission!”. The UK Space Agency was also quick to congratulate India for the historic achievement. In a statement, Anu Ojha said that “Chandrayaan-3 on the moon is further evidence that we are living in a new space age”. Meanwhile, congratulations also poured in from Russian President Vladimir Putin and his minister Sergey Lavrov. With this success, India has become the fourth country- after the US, China and Russia – to have successfully landed on the moon’s surface. India has also earned a place in record books as the first to touchdown on the south side of Earth’s only natural satellite.

Luna-25: Russia’s Luna-25 spacecraft crashes into moon, declared mission failed

Russia’s first moon mission in 47 years failed after its Luna-25 spacecraft smashed into the moon on Aug 20. Roskosmos, Russia’s space corporation, said it had lost contact with the craft shortly after a problem occurred. This development came soon after the craft was shunted into pre-landing orbit on Aug 19. An incident occurred, while the spacecraft was trying to enter a pre-landing orbit according to Roscosmos. Interestingly, Russia had not attempted a moon mission since Luna-24 in 1976. Luna-25 was supposed to execute a soft landing on the south pole of the moon on Aug 21, as per Russian space officials. Meanwhile, India’s third lunar mission Chandrayaan-3 is on track. Chandrayaan-3 is set to land on the moon on August 23, 2023 (Wednesday). The spacecraft is now just three days away from its final destination, the moon’s south pole.
