Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed an election rally in Kerala’s Palakkad on April 15. During a public rally in Palakkad’s Alathur, PM Modi in Kerala trained guns at LDF and UDF and said that they are deteriorating the condition of Kerala. He said that in Kerala, Congress calls the Left people 'terrorists'. But in Delhi, they sit together, eat together and make strategies for elections." He also accused the Left government of hindering Centre's development programmes in the southern state and alleged that the Left front will ruin Kerala like it did in other states where it was in power in the past. Modi also attacked the CPI(M)-led government in the state by referring to the Karuvannur Cooperative bank scam and accusing the Left party of looting money belonging to the poor. He also attacked the Congress by alleging that it created a weak image of India in the world, while the BJP had built the country into a strong nation.

Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Union Minister Smriti Irani held a special interaction with businessmen in Bengaluru, Karnataka on April 05. In this special meeting, she urged the audience to vote for BJP in order to make India a developed country and the third-largest economy in the world. She also took a dig at the opposition, the Gandhi family and their politics over the years. Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) 2019 has been finally implemented in India. The Union Home Ministry has notified rules for implementation of Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) on March 11, days ahead of LS Polls 2024. Home Minister Amit Shah, on multiple occasions, said that CAA rules would be notified ahead of the Lok Sabha elections to be held in April-May. The implementation of CAA triggered a wave of celebration among the refugees. Pakistani refugees on March 12 lauded Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for implementing the Citizenship Amendment Act. In a media interaction, actress Adah Sharma talked about her upcoming movie “Bastar: The Naxal story”. The film has spine-chilling shots of Naxalites killing CRPF Jawans and also scenes depicting JNU students celebrating the death of Jawans. Talking about her film, Adah Sharma said, “We can roam freely because our Jawans are protecting us. If a film is being on our Jawans, our 76 Jawans who were brutally killed by Naxals, I would definitely stand for a film that says that’s wrong.” The film is set to hit the theatres on 15th March.
