On 24th of April, a gruesome murder took place near India Gate, New Delhi. A 25-year-old ice cream vendor named Prabhakar was stabbed to death during a fight near India Gate late Wednesday evening. A case of murder was registered under Section 302 IPC. The preliminary investigation suggests that Prabhat was selling ice cream when he had an argument with a customer over payment. The matter escalated and the accused stabbed Prabhat with a knife, before running away from the crime spot. Prabhat rushed to the hospital but was declared dead by the doctors. The police arrested the accused, who was on the run after identifying him with the assistance of CCTV cameras installed in nearby shops. He has been brought to the police station for further information.

Deepak is among the most wanted gangsters of Delhi-NCR, who fled the country on a fake passport. Briefing on the Delhi Kanjhawala death case which has shocked the country with twists and turns, Delhi Police Special CP (Law and Order) Sagar Preet Hooda on January 05 informed about the accused behind the wheel. CP Hooda said that the driver was identified after interrogating the 5 arrested persons. The Special CP further said that Amit, who was driving the car was initially not revealed by people who tried to mislead police, as he didn’t have a driving license. The Delhi Police’s Crime Branch has arrested a woman and her son from the Pandav Nagar area for the murder of her husband in June. They then disposed of the body in east Delhi grounds — part by part.CCTV visuals from that time showed the mother and son on their way to dump the body parts.
