T20 World Cup 2024: India’s full lineup announced

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has revealed the 15-member squad for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024, set to kick off on June 1 in the West Indies and USA. Rohit Sharma will captain the team, with Hardik Pandya serving as vice-captain. The squad includes two wicket-keepers, Rishabh Pant and Sanju Samson, alongside star batsman Virat Kohli, who's been in top form during IPL 2024. Pant returns to the Indian team after a 16-month hiatus following a serious car accident on the Delhi-Dehradun highway in 2022. The Indian squad features four spin bowlers—Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, and Yuzvendra Chahal.

He said that the fans behavior has not been pleasing and urged them not to boo the new MI skipper. Ganguly pointed out that it is not Hardik's fault if he has replaced the much-loved Rohit Sharma. Hardik returned to Mumbai Indians (MI) as a captain from Gujarat Titans (GT), replacing the five-time IPL winner Rohit Sharma. Since the start of the 17th edition of the IPL Mumbai Indians is at the bottom place, having lost all their matches. Earlier, Pandya also offered prayers at Somnath temple on April 05 after MI lost their last match against Rajasthan Royals by 6 wickets.
