Mumbai’s Mini-Goa Vasai gets a new Vasai-Bhayandar Ro-Ro ferry service

There has been a significant upgrade in Mumbai’s infrastructure in the recent times and a brand new RO-RO ferry survive is the latest addition. A new Vasai-Bhayandar Ro-Ro ferry service will be running on a regular basis from 21st February between Vasai and Bhayandar that is going to cut down the commute time between the two destinations to 15 minutes. This is the second RoRo service in the MMR. The first one operates on the Ferry Wharf and Mandwa route. The newly-inaugurated service will ply eight times a day. The vessel can carry 100 passengers and 33 four-wheelers in one go. Here’s everything you need to know about the service.

Stressed due to family problems, a 43-year-old Pradeep Udayraj Upadhyay, a resident of Nalasopara jumped into Bhayandar creek on 25th November.  He was rescued by PSI Yuvraj Shirsath and Havaldar Bhoye who were on patrolling duty.

Drunk women held for abusing and assaulting cops in Bhayander

Four women employees of a call centre were arrested by the Bhayander police on Tuesday night after they created a ruckus outside a popular mall in the vicinity. The women were hurling abuses and even assaulted a male cop. When the crowd started gathering outside the scene the police arrested the women. Watch this video to see what happened.
