‘Operation Dost’: NDRF Rescues Life Of 8-Year-Old Girl In Quake-Hit Turkiye

India launched ‘Operation Dost’ to extend assistance to Türkiye and Syria after devastating earthquake. India’s NDRF, Turkish Army rescued an 8-year-old girl in Nurdagi, Gaziantep. The girl was stuck alive under the rubble of a building flattened by the massive earthquake. As per the latest report, over 24,000 people have been killed in the devastating natural disaster. A massive earthquake of 7.8 magnitudes on the Richter Scale, ripped Türkiye and Syria on Feb 6. It was followed by a series of aftershocks that caused huge devastation, loss of lives in both countries. India is sending relief materials and rescue teams to assist Türkiye in rescue operations. People donated blankets at Turkish Embassy in Delhi for quake-hit people.
