On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress Chief Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi gave their best wishes to the people of India on the auspicious occasion of Diwali

On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress Chief Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi gave their best wishes to the people of India on the auspicious occasion of Diwali and expressed hope that the festival would bring happiness, prosperity to everyone.


In a post on the social media app X, the Prime Minister posted, "Wishing everyone a Happy Diwali! May this special festival bring joy, prosperity and wonderful health to everyone's lives."


This year, Diwali will be celebrated on Sunday, November 12.


Congress leader Rahul Gandhi greeted people and hoped that India be illuminated with truth, justice and love. "Best wishes to everyone on Diwali. Let the darkness of lies, injustice and hatred disappear, May our India be illuminated with truth, justice and love," the Congress leader posted on social media app X.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge also extended warm greetings to the people on Diwali and expressed hope that this unique festival of lights brings happiness, peace, and prosperity to everyone's lives.

"I wish all the leaders and workers of the Congress Party a very happy Diwali. May this unique festival of lights bring happiness, peace, prosperity and prosperity in your life," Kharge posted on X.

Diwali is observed on Amavasya (or the new moon), the 15th day of the month of Kartik, every year.

Meanwhile, Apple Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Tim Cook too extended wishes on the occasion of Diwali festival.

Taking on his social media X, Apple CEO Tim Cook, stated, "Happy Diwali! May your celebrations be filled with warmth, prosperity, and the joy of being together. Shot on iPhone 15 Pro Max by Chandan Khanna."

Cook also shared an image showing children holding sky lamps.
