On Wednesday, the Delhi Police Special Cell made an arrest of one of three men responsible for a shooting at a car showroom in the Tilak Nagar area. The accused has been sent for four days in police custody, reported news agency ANI.
Delhi Police said, "Multiple shots were fired in an incident of firing in a car showroom in the Tilak Nagar area. Fortunately no serious injuries were reported but some bystanders suffered from sustained injuries due to the broken glass and are currently undergoing treatment".

The accused, identified as Ketan, a 20-year-old, was arrested during his fleeing attempt from Panipat and produced before Patiala House Court by the Delhi Police Special Cell team on Wednesday.
Delhi police further added, "The 20-year-old had arrived at the showroom with two more shooters on his bike. The unsuspected shooters opened fire on the showroom for a few minutes after which Ketan along with the shooters fled. After travelling some distance, both the shooters went separate ways while Ketan left towards Panipat on his bike. There the police caught him and a pistol was recovered from him. The search for the other two is still on."
According to the Special Cell sources told ANI, during interrogation, Ketan revealed crucial information that he was ordered to open fire by Himanshu Bhau, who is currently not in the country. Himanshu Bhau is believed to be connected to notorious criminals Neeraj Bawana and Naveen Bali, suggesting a possible connection between this attack and organized crime. The Delhi police further claimed that Ketan fired around 20 rounds, with no intentions to kill or harm but only to scare. What was surprising was that he didn’t even have an idea about the showroom owner, but still opened fire only on Himanshu Bhau’s word.
The arrest of Ketan marks a positive step forward in bringing those responsible for this shooting to justice as the Special Cell team can soon take custody of gangster Naveen Bali, reported ANI. However, with two suspects still at large, the Special Cell's work is far from over. The Special Cell team is still interrogating Ketan about the whereabouts of the two shooters. The coming days will be crucial in determining the root cause of the attack and apprehending all those involved.
