Privy to the need of its loyal members to break free from the shackles of the pandemic, Dineout Passport, a premium dining and lifestyle membership program in India, provided just the right excuse when it kicked off the second leg of its pan-India partnership with Pernod Ricard, at the swanky restaurant Masu at the Conrad, Pune. ‘Dineout Passport Experiences’ executed with panache a ‘Malt & Jazz’ evening for its members that included an exclusive tasting of the Aberlour Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky 12 YO, followed by Longmorn The Distiller’s Choice and Scapa Glansa paired with an exquisite 5 course menu curated exclusively for the evening.

As the evening unfolded, the gracious hosts, Sameer Malkani, Brand Host - Dineout Passport and Rahul Bhagat, Director of Operations charmed all the attendees, namely members of the dining program along with some special guests comprising notable names from various industries, to enthusiastically participate in the proceedings.

Prominent personalities like Niraj Khinvasara - CIO, World Trade Center, Dhaval Shah - Managing Director, Jairaj Group, Sasha Anand – Director, SAPO Ventures & Pomello Social, Anant Duseja - Film Director, Dia Choraria – Actor were seen revelling in the activities of the evening.

The assembled guests were also taken through an interactive and informative journey on the nuances of single malt whisky by Suyash Pande, Brand Ambassador of Pernod Ricard, while discussing some unique experiences along the way.

Adding a magical note to an already riveting event, the popular trio - Lisa (on vocals), Aubrey (on keys), and Mahindra (on Sax) played some mesmerizing live music, that helped build tempo of the celebratory mood throughout the evening.

To match the incredible range of Pernod Ricard’s malts, Executive Chef, Sidney D’cunha curated a special haute menu, as no event is complete without gastronomical delights; and great food is the USP of The Conrad, Pune.

The lip-smaking menu included hand-picked Patata Bravas, Baby Burrata and Avocado, Lemon & Mint Sorbet, Activated Charcoal Tortellini, Herb Crusted New Zealand Lamb Chop; and to wash it all down, Raspberry Chocolate - a mouth-watering dessert. These delicacies were suitably paired with Longmorn Distillers Choice, Scapa Glansa, Aberlour 12 YO, allowing guests and members to appreciate how elements of each malt perfectly complemented the dishes.
