Why Isha Malviya regrets doing ‘Bigg Boss 17’: 'Encountered selfish people...'

Actress Isha Malviya, who was seen in “Bigg Boss 17” last year, said that the only regret she has from doing the controversial reality show was encountering selfish people who were just “using” her.  "I've encountered many selfish people who were just using me, and I didn't even realise it at the time. I regret those experiences, but I don't regret participating in Bigg Boss. I regret forming friendships or relationships with people who didn't respect me or understand my worth,” she said.   In “Bigg Boss 17”, Isha was seen with her then-beau Samarth Jurel. She befriended Ankita Lokhande and her husband Vicky Jain. The actress was also seen often locking horns with her former beau Abhishek Kumar. However, Isha values the lessons learned from the show. Looking forward, she said that she would love to participate in a dance-based reality show.  "I don't think I would do more reality shows in general, but if it's something related to dancing, like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, I would love to participate. I've been dancing since I was six years old, so why not?" Isha added.  Isha gained instant stardom with her work in the TV show “Udaariyaan”, which also featured Samarth and Abhishek.  Post her stint in “Bigg Boss 17”, Isha was seen in several music videos. Her song  “Paon Ki Jutti” by Jyoti Nooran went viral on social media.  This story has been sourced from a third party syndicated feed, agencies. Bigg Boss OTT 3: Ranvir Shorey opens up on breakup with Pooja Bhatt

Ranvir Shorey is getting more attention during his time on Bigg Boss OTT 3. In a recent episode of the show, the actor made a rare mention of his past relationship with Pooja Bhatt, referring to it as "the biggest scandal" of his life. He also talked about the tough times he faced after his mother's passing, sharing how difficult it was for him to cope with the loss. Ranvir Shorey calls breakup with Pooja Bhatt the 'the biggest scandal' of his life While reminiscing, the actor remembered filming Lakshya in Ladakh in 2002. He got a call from home saying his mother was unwell, but he couldn't leave until the shoot was over. He also mentioned that during that time, he was caught up in the biggest scandal of his life with an actress. He said, “During the same time, I also encountered the biggest scandal of my life with another actress. As I was unable to cope, my brother asked me to come to the US with him for a while. I pursued a six-month acting course in the US and borrowed money from my brother. After returning from the US, I started shooting for The Great Indian Comedy Show in 2005”. “At that time, two of my long-shelved films were greenlit for release and hit theaters back-to-back within a week and my work was loved by audiences. After those films, I finally felt my life was steady as an actor and that I had arrived,” he added. Ranvir Shorey's previous comment on the Bhatt family Previously, in a conversation with ANI, Ranvir Shorey shared that his respect for Mahesh Bhatt was used against him to manipulate him. Ranvir said, "I had great regard for Mr Bhatt (Mahesh Bhatt) until the fiasco happened when I was seeing his daughter (Pooja Bhatt). Then I saw that actually whatever respect I had for him was being used to manipulate me... very duplicitous behaviour going on." "This fully happens, you know, ganging up against someone, elbowing them out, standing on somebody's toes, scuttling somebody's career. This happens. This is a fact. It happens in politics, corporate, and media too. But this part is not glamorous," he added.

Sumbul on 'Kavya' completing 200 episodes: 'Means a lot, looking at how uncertai

Actress Sumbul Touqeer expressed gratitude as her show 'Kavya - Ek Jazbaa, Ek Junoon' has completed 200 episodes and said this means a lot, especially looking at how uncertain and unpredictable the television industry has become. Sumbul said she is grateful for all the love the audience has given the show and her character, Kavya. "It feels so good. Completing 200 episodes is a big achievement. This shows that all our hard work is paying off, and I am grateful to the audience for loving and supporting us on this journey. This means a lot, especially looking at how uncertain and unpredictable the television industry has become. So I am truly honoured, and it feels like a big celebratory moment," she said. Sumbul shared: "I am sure the audience will love the upcoming episodes too, and before we know it, we will be done with 2,000 episodes and more." Speaking about her fun chemistry with co-star Mishkat Varma, Sumbul shared, "He is very helpful and very supportive. The only thing that I find annoying about him is that he forgets things (laughs). But we have come a long way, and I am grateful for this opportunity and his friendship." "We often make dance reels, which makes our work more fun. He is a great guy, and it is so good to share the screen with him," she added. Regarding the challenges she faced in portraying her character, Sumbul said: "To be honest, in reality, I am a very chill, happy-go-lucky person, but if you see, Kavya is someone who is always very focused, very serious, and strict with her work and career. She is the opposite of me, so that poses a challenge sometimes, but it’s been 200 episodes now, and I have learned so much from her. I feel truly blessed to be able to play this role." The actress also believes that the character resonates well with the audience, as women today are very career-oriented and focused. "I feel that women are more focused on their careers and education now. And when they see Kavya managing everything, including her career, professional life, and personal life, they relate to her and get inspired by her," Sumbul concluded. The show airs on Sony. Shaleen Malhotra to enter Sony SAB’s Vanshaj as new rival of Mahajans

Sony SAB's 'Vanshaj' is an intense family drama featuring Yuvika Mahajan (Anjali Tatrari), who fights against the gender norm of inheritance, leading to a power struggle with her cousin Digvijay, also called DJ Mahajan (Mahir Pandhi). In the upcoming episodes, viewers will witness how Yuvika finally manages to end DJ’s reign and lead the Mahajan empire as the rightful heir of the business. While Yuvika prepares for a fresh start, a new figure enters her life, poised to disrupt her plans. Mid-day.com has exclusively learned that Shaleen Malhotra will make an entry in the show. Yes, you read that right. Shaleen Malhotra will be a new entry in 'Vanshaj'. The actor will take on the role of Yash Talwar, the dynamic businessman and young heir of Talwar Industries, one of the old rivals of the Mahajan empire. As a driven and strategic leader fueled by familial loyalty, Yash stands in stark contrast to Yuvika's ideals of empathy and integrity. Their clash of ambitions in 'Vanshaj' will spark a gripping battle of intellect and willpower, setting the stage for the two warring families to come face-to-face. What will happen when the two contrasting personalities collide? Will it give rise to a fierce battle? Or will it be a case of opposites attracting? Shaleen Malhotra, on entering the show as the new male lead Yash Talwar, said, “I am looking forward to joining the team of 'Vanshaj'. Yash is a powerful and positive character who does everything for his family. He has a strong business acumen and believes in cutthroat competition when it comes to taking his rivals down. The show recently completed a year and has created a strong fanbase for itself, and I am confident that Yash Talwar will be loved and accepted by the audience as much as the other characters on the show. He will be like a breath of fresh air with a never-seen-before attitude towards life, and his rivalry with the Mahajans will add to the intensity and the drama.” To note, you can watch 'Vanshaj' every Monday to Saturday on Sony SAB at 7 PM and 10 PM.
