Vaathi (2023)
'Vaathi,' a 2023 period action-drama by Venky Atluri, stars Dhanush as a teacher in his Telugu debut. Filmed in Tamil and Telugu, the story is set in '90s Sozhavaram, straddling Tamil Nadu-Andhra Pradesh. Dhanush's Balamurugan, an assistant teacher at Thirupathi Coaching Centre, is sent to a government school due to a deal with TCC's head, Srinivasa Thirupathi.
