He expressed joy about his son's decision, stating that they didn't have a daughter in their family and couldn't wait to wholeheartedly welcome her.
Meanwhile, Karan and Drisha recently returned to Mumbai after enjoying their honeymoon in Manali. The couple, who have been dating for six years and reportedly know each other since childhood, met while Drisha was working as a fashion designer in Dubai. Drisha is reported to be the granddaughter of Bimal Roy's daughter, Rinki Bhattacharya, who was married to filmmaker Basu Bhattacharya.
