Nora Fatehi, who plays the role of an influencer in her upcoming theatrical movie Crakk, says this era belongs to influencers. “Today, every kid wants to be an influencer. It’s a real job, and people make a lot of money from it. But, it’s not an easy job. You need to have a personality that will attract people to you. My character in the film is named Alia, and she has a unique personality that adds a different dimension to the narrative,” she said.

Amitabh Bachchan paid a visit to the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, yesterday. A video has been doing the rounds on the internet in which Big B is seen exiting the temple amidst heavy security. Reportedly, Bachchan was in the city for the inauguration of a store. The Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla at the temple in Ayodhya was held on January 22.

Back on screen

Rakhee Gulzar, who will return to Bengali cinema with Aamar Boss, has wrapped up shooting for the film. The culmination of this journey was met with heartfelt emotions as the cast and crew bid farewell to the Shiboprosad Mukherjee-directed project. Gulzar shared, “I had seen their films and liked those. So when they approached me with this script, I found it to be fresh. There are fresh faces; the script is fresh. I really enjoyed working with this team. They gave me the inspiration to begin something new.”

New work

Ashmit Patel, who is marking his return to acting with the streaming series State v/s Ahuja, shared that his work in music production and his gigs as a DJ, kept him busy during his hiatus. State v/s Ahuja is based on Ansh, a Bollywood superstar who faces rape accusations by his maid. The series—directed by Tarun Chopra—arguably appears to draw inspiration from Shiney Ahuja’s case. “I’m always drawn to roles that push boundaries and provoke thought. State v/s Ahuja offered me that opportunity. It allowed me to challenge myself in new ways,” Patel said.
