It is Amitabh Bachchan's birthday today and fans aren't in the mood to keep calm. On the special occasion, they gathered outside the veteran superstar's bungalow in Mumbai to make the day even more special for him.
On Mr Bachchan's birthday, fans reached Jalsa dressed up like his film characters. Folks from different corners of the country gathered outside his bungalow to catch a glimpse of their beloved star. Mid-Day.com was present there to cover the celebration live. It was noticed that an idli seller distributed free idlis and vadas to fans while there was an auto driver who had his auto decorated with posters of stars from the Hindi film industry plus a karaoke set up using which he also sang 'Mere Angne Mein Tumhara Kya Kaam Hai'. As per a fan, Mr Bachchan is his God and he has been a fan of his even before birth.

At the stroke of midnight, Mr Bachchan stepped out of his bungalow to meet his fans standing at the gate of Jalsa. While he was waving at his fans, the paparazzi captured an adorable moment. In multiple videos, one can see Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Aaradhya Bachchan and Navya Naveli Nanda in the background. Reportedly, they were on a video call with Abhishek Bachchan, who couldn't be present in Mumbai for his father's birthday celebration.
Navya shared a picture of Mr Bachchan with his grandchildren. The veteran superstar stood in the centre whereas Navya, Aaradhya, and Agastya Nanda were around him and his wife Jaya Bachchan. Her caption read, "Happy Birthday Nana."
On the occasion of Mr Bachchan's birthday, the makers of Kalki 2898 AD unveiled a new poster featuring him. The caption read, "It's an honor to be part of your journey and witness your greatness. Happy Birthday @SrBachchan sir - Team #Kalki2898AD."
Workwise, he will be starring in Ganapath with Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon. The film will release in theatres on October 20, 2023. The first part of the franchise marks his maiden collaboration with Tiger and Kriti.
