Junaid Khan is set to have a working birthday this year. On this special day, he will be fully immersed in shooting for his untitled next project.

A source close to the actor shared,“Junaid is so dedicated and committed to his craft that even on his birthday, Junaid will be shooting the whole day for his untitled next with Khushi Kapoor. It would be interesting to see the two actors sharing the screen space for the first time and showcase their talent.”

Junaid’s decision to have a working birthday highlights his passion for acting. Fans and industry insiders are eagerly anticipating the collaboration between Junaid and Khushi, as their on-screen chemistry promises to bring something fresh and exciting to the table.

Junaid has been extremely busy, wrapping up his projects one after the other. His debut film ‘Maharaj,’ co-starring Jaideep Ahlawat, is set to release on 14th June on Netflix.  Based on a libel case, the film introduces audiences to Junaid Khan in his acting debut. Directed by Siddharth P Malhotra, 'Maharaj; also stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Shalini Pandey, and features a special appearance by Sharvari. While sharing the release date with a poster, the maker wrote, "The fight for the truth between a powerful man and a fearless journalist. Based on true events - Maharaj is releasing on 14 June, only on Netflix!"

The film's logline reads: Inspired by true events, 'Maharaj' is an incredible David vs Goliath story. Set in the 1800s, it narrates how a regular man, journalist by profession, takes on a powerful role model of society, hailed by many as a messiah for the masses. The fearless reporter wields his pen to go toe-to-toe with this spotless figure of the community in a bid to uncover a series of incidents that shake the very foundation of society.

The period drama is an ode to mankind's spirit to do good, to pursue and discover truth at any cost, and to fight for humanity. It shows how one person's will to affect positive social change can triumph over all evil and bring those in power to justice, as per the press release from the film's PR team.

In addition to ‘Maharaj,’ Junaid also has another film with Sai Pallavi, which was shot in Japan. Stills from this project went viral earlier a few months ago, generating significant buzz.

Currently, Junaid is focused on his untitled project with Khushi. This collaboration has piqued the interest of fans who are keen to see how the young actors complement each other on screen. With both actors hailing from illustrious film families, their pairing is highly anticipated.

As Junaid continues to work on diverse projects, his future projects promise to establish him as a versatile and talented actor. Here’s wishing him a very happy birthday and success in all his future endeavours!
