Actor Dino Morea has opened up about his alleged rivalry with actor John Abraham. He also spoke about is past relationship with Bipasha Basu

Actors Dino Morea and John Abraham stepped into world of showbiz as models. They took a leap into acting around the same time. There were talks of a rivalry between them having dated model-actress Bipasha Basu.
In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Dino spoke about the speculations of him having a rivalry with actor John Abraham. "We (Dino and John) never had any rivalry. We used to talk to each other and have fun with each other. The talk about the rivalry between us started in people’s minds after I broke up with Bipasha and he started dating Bipasha. People started thinking that he was dating my girlfriend, so there was a rivalry, media also fueled this. But there has never been any rivalry. We both have been on our own paths," he shared.

He further said, "Only yesterday I texted him, ‘Are we going for a bike ride or a coffee?’ I don’t think we have a rivalry. I am happy to see where he is today. Because at that point when we were starting out people used to say models can’t act and we proved them wrong. John has done really well. I take my hat off for that guy, he has conducted himself well".
Dino also spoke in detail about his dating days with the 'Alone' actress Bipasha Basu and how it ended. He said that John and Bipasha began dating only a year after his own break-up with the actress. "I am clarifying it after years. Me and Bipasha broke up and almost one year after that they started dating, and I had started dating somebody else. So, why would there be any animosity? People thought that John took my girlfriend but it was nothing like that. The three of us used to talk but people made it into something else," he said.
In 2002, Morea starred in the year's most successful horror thriller, 'Raaz' alongside Bipasha Basu. Directed by Vikram Bhatt, the supernatural thriller became one of the most successful films of the year and showcased Dino’s acting skills and versatility.
Meanwhile, Bipasha is currently happily married to actor Karan Singh Grover. The couple has a daughter named Devi.
