Uorfi Javed is known for her haute couture looks. While her ensembles don't always get the praise they deserve, there was an outpouring of appreciation for the influencer after the MET Gala. However, regarding the outfit in question, Uorfi herself mentioned that she was inspired by Undercover, the designer who also designed Amelia Grey's look. There was no copying involved. While Uorfi may have been the first to wear a similar creation, she didn't steal anyone's idea, nor did Amelia copy her.

In addition, during the interview portion of the red carpet, Doja Cat claimed her look was inspired by the "flower" cotton, which is inaccurate.
