FMD Music Storms Into Indian Musical Scene With A Bang..!!

Ramesh Bhandari. Does the name ring a bell? Well, the very lovable and the super active Producer from  Hyderabad Ramesh Bhandari with his musical  company FMD has parachuted itself quietly but strongly in Bollywood quadrangle with back to back music video album hits, the recent being the incredible launch of three music albums at a stretch before the Valentine's Dgay namely, Roadways, Bikhar Jaun and Mainu Chhadke)!

Going straight to him, how was FMD born and how has been the journey  so far?

"FMD was born during the lockdown when I and my brother were thinking of an OTT Platform However, I ended up starting a Music Label due to my passion towards music," said Bhandari adding "The journey has been exciting with lots of ups and downs.  However, it has been very successful during the last one year or so as we were able to get more than 1 lakh YouTube subscribers and are waiting for the Silver Button which is a Big achievement considering that we are only a year old."

So, what are the major projects which have seen the light of the day so far. And what are the projects in the pipeline?

"We have done more that 50 plus music video albums so far (plans atleast 2-3 music video albums every month) and many of our songs like Saathiya, Laapata, Nachle Nachle etc have crossed more than a million views. We have produced some shortfilms, the recent one being Hide & Seek which has received more than 10 nternational awards and it will be screened at Cannes World Film Festival,"  said Bhandari, the ebullient Producer.

Bhandari informed that this year "we will be producing couple of movies and also we are venturing into films PR & distribution."We will be soon releasing our first movie on March 1st.

Being from Hyderabad and staying in Mumbai to give his dreams wings, has there been any problem for Bhandari?

Bhandari smiles and tells, "Even though I am from Hyderabad I have been travelling and working across the globe due to my IT background. Mumbai is not new to me as I studied my Management course from Mumbai. When I decided to pursue my Bollywood career then the obvious choice was Mumbai because of the facilities and talent available here. I am enjoying the journey so far as I work with people across India and engaged with artists from across the country like Punjabi, Bengali, Haryanvi et al."

About the musical scenario in Bollywood, Bhandari said that music in Bollywood has always been exciting and if everything goes well, he wants to release Bollywood movie songs through his FMD label. He says already "We have released South movies' songs (Telugu & Kannada) and soon will be releasing Bengali as well," informed the very hardworking Bhandari.

And about his hobbies and how does he relax, Bhandari  said with a broad smile, "My first and best hobby is music and that is where I am engaged in. Apart from that I love gym and swimming. Coming to relaxing , I love to party with my friends on weekends and that gives energy. My philosophy is work hard and  party harder."

Congratulations are due to the irrepressible Ramesh Bhandari whose FMD music channel is becoming the search point for many superhit songs as,among others, internationally famous singers like Usha Uthup, Nachiketa, Rupankar, Samrat Sarkar and Nimmi Priya (the same singer who received South India's famous Idea Singer of the Year award) from the very popular Usha Uthup also singing for his albums. Best of luck, Mr Bhandari!
