Argentine legend Diego Maradona’s heirs will launch a lawsuit to stop the auction of the Golden Ball trophy that he was awarded after the 1986 World Cup won by Argentina.

Gilles Moreu, a lawyer, who represents Maradona’s two daughters, said he will throw an urgent request to the president of the Nanterre judicial court near Paris to have the Golden Ball withdrawn from the auction.
