Citizenship Amendment Act: Refugees get citizenship under CAA, laud PM Modi

The Ministry of Home Affairs handed the Citizenship Certificates to persecute non-Muslim migrants. Pakistani refugees, living at Majnu ka Tila refugee camps, got Indian citizenship through the Citizenship Amendment Act on May 15. Sheetal Das, a Pakistani refugee expressed his happiness upon receiving citizenship and thanked the Central government. Yashodha said that her children would now be able to get educated and have a better future and they would be considered Indians now. Applications have been received from persons belonging to Hindu, Sikh, and other communities from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan who entered India up to 31.12.2014.

Give up PoK?He said, “As far as PoK is concerned, it is not only the commitment of the BJP but also the commitment of the Parliament of the country. PoK is a part of India and we have rights over it. No one can deny that...Farooq Abdullah and Congress leaders are saying that Pakistan has an atom bomb, so respect them...will an Atomic power with a 130 cr population Bharat, be scared of someone and give up its right? Rahul Baba should explain to the country what are their alliance leaders saying, respect Pakistan? Give up PoK?.. Violence & Unrest Intensifies In PoK While J&K Celebrates Festival Of Democracy

 Fueled by Pakistan’s economic crisis, protests have rocked PoK due to clashes between protesters and authorities. People are on streets against skyrocketing inflation and violent protests have left at least 3 people dead and 90 injured. The protest is being led by Awami Action Committee which demanded tax-free electricity from Mangla Dam and subsidies on wheat flour. Clashes ensued between law enforcement and protesters in Muzaffarabad, Dadyal, Mirpur, and other parts of PoK. While tension has heightened in PoK, Jammu and Kashmir is celebrating world’s largest festival of democracy. Years after article 370 was abrogated, people in Kashmir queued up to exercise their franchise and be part of democratic process. Home Minister Amit Shah has said, “Modi government's decision to abrogate Article 370 is showing results”. The HM’s remarks came a day after about 38 per cent polling was recorded in the Srinagar Lok Sabha constituency. India has remained resolute on its resolve that PoK is an integral parts of the country. Recently, EAM Jaishankar made big statement and said “PoK will be part of India”. Speaking on violence in PoK, Ghulam Nabi Azad said that “he felt sorry for Pakistan’s people”.

Muzaffarabad Protest: PoK Activist Ayub Mirza Urges India To Liberate Pok

Amid the Lok Sabha Polls in India, voices to merge Pakistan-occupied Kashmir has grown louder. Time and again, India has remained resolute, calling entire Jammu and Kashmir including PoK as part of India. Meanwhile, anti-Pak protests in several regions of Pakistan’s illegally occupied Kashmir have rocked the neighbor. People in the region, particularly the younger generation, have confronted Pakistani forces on the streets. Clashes have also ensued between security personnel and protesters in Muzaffarabad, Dadyal, Mirpur, and other parts of PoK. Amid the unrest, Political Activist Amjad Ayub Mirza appealed to India to focus on PoJK as the situation is getting out of hand there. Here’s how India foiled Pakistan’s honey-trap plot to gather sensitive info

Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), infamous for its notorious attempts of waging asymmetrical war against India, once again bit the dust as its major ‘honey-trapping’ bid was foiled in Gujarat and a man was arrested in the case. This time, an ISI was eyeing information on India’s one of the most advanced missile system, BrahMos. A Pakistani agent, posing as a girl from Chandigarh, ‘honey-trapped’ Indian man Pravin Mishra through Facebook. Who is Pravin Mishra? Pravin Mishra, an aeronautical engineer by profession, worked at a factory in Gujarat’s Ankleshwar. The company supplied synthetic chemical to Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO). The Pakistani agent, who was in pursuit of sensitive details related to BrahMos, befriended Mishra through social media and attempted to persuade him to leak information. While Pravin shared some details with ISI, Indian intel agencies were quick to nab him. Pravin has now been arrested and FIR has been registered. The further probe is underway.

POK Protests: Pakistan imposes curfew in POK after intense protests

A violent clash broke out between the police and people from the Dadyal area of Pakistan-Occupied (PoK) Kashmir on Thursday which left several injured.  The protesters gathered to protest against skyrocketing inflation and load shedding.  Pakistan police subsequently implemented curfew in the region, prohibiting all activities following the POK Protests. Before this escalation, the protesters had warned the Pakistani authorities against resorting to violence. Meanwhile, speaking to ANI, political activist Amjad Ayub Mirza condemned the incident, emphasizing that violence against peaceful protesters in PoK is intolerable. He also reported the tragic death of a schoolgirl in Dadyal. Mirza further stated, "Riots have erupted in Dadyal, with hundreds of protesters taking to the streets in Tatapani. The state's violence against my people is a ploy to impose Section 144 and a curfew in PoJK ahead of the May 11 long march and sit-in outside the legislative assembly in Muzaffarabad."
