Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina on June 22 was accorded a ceremonial reception at the forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi received the Bangladesh Prime Minister at the Rashtrapati Bhawan. PM Hasina is in India on a State visit from June 21 to 22 at the invitation of PM Modi. Earlier on June 21, EAM Dr S Jaishankar called on the visiting Bangladesh Prime Minister in New Delhi. Notably, PM Hasina with other global leaders attended the swearing-in ceremony of PM Modi on June 09.
