Kuwait Building Fire: Tragic Incident Leaves Over 41 Dead, 50 Injured | PM Modi Expresses Grief

A devastating fire broke out in a Mangaf building in Kuwait on June 12, claiming over 41 lives and injuring more than 50, with the majority being Indian workers. Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause. Indian Ambassador Adarsh Swaika visited injured workers at Al-Adan hospital. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief, assuring close monitoring by the Indian Embassy. He convened a high-level meeting, where compensation of ₹2 lakh per family of the deceased was announced. Congress leader Shashi Tharoor urged Kuwait`s government for action and support for affected families.
