Congress petitions EC seeking to invalidate votes of Sudhir Mungantiwar, Ravi Rana
The Congress has demanded that the Election Commission invalidate the votes of BJP MLA Sudhir Mungantiwar and independent MLA Ravi Rana in the Rajya Sabha election, alleging violation of rules. The voting for six Rajya Sabha seats has been delayed.

Congress wins 3 Rajya Sabha seats in Rajasthan: CM Ashok Gehlot
The ruling Congress on Friday won three of the four Rajya Sabha seats in Rajasthan, overcoming the challenge posed by BJP-backed independent candidate Subhash Chandra, according to the party. The BJP got the fourth seat.
Congress candidates Randeep Surjewala, Mukul Wasnik and Pramod Tiwari were elected to the Rajya Sabha, according to a tweet by Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.
राजस्थान में तीन राज्यसभा सीटों पर कांग्रेस की विजय लोकतंत्र की जीत है। मैं तीनों नवनिर्वाचित सांसदों श्री प्रमोद तिवारी, श्री मुकुल वासनिक एवं श्री रणदीप सुरजेवाला को बधाई देता हूं। मुझे पूर्ण विश्वास है कि तीनों सांसद दिल्ली में राजस्थान के हक की मजबूती से पैरवी कर सकेंगे।

यह शुरू से स्पष्ट था कि कांग्रेस के पास तीनों सीटों के लिए जरूरी बहुमत है। परन्तु भाजपा ने एक निर्दलीय को उतारकर हॉर्स ट्रेडिंग का प्रयास किया। हमारे विधायकों की एकजुटता ने इस प्रयास को करारा जवाब दिया है। 2023 विधानसभा चुनाव में भी भाजपा को इसी तरह हार का सामना करना पड़ेगा।

चूरू जिले की भानीपुरा उप-तहसील को तहसील में क्रमोन्नत करने तथा जिले के हमीरवास बड़ा (तहसील राजगढ़) को नवीन उप तहसील बनाने के प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दी है। इस निर्णय से लोगों को स्थानीय स्तर पर ही राजस्व कार्यों के निस्तारण में सुगमता होगी।
