Pijush Saha, the man who gave Big stars to the Tollywood film industry, is all excited to launch a new face even after all these years. The hitmaker is now all set to launch his son Prince Prachurya in his upcoming movie ‘Jaalbandi’. As per the filmmaker, ‘Jaalbandi' is going to be a different movie from all that he has made before. The film based on the novel Jaalbandi by Samaresh Majumder. Apart from Prince, the movie also stars Paayel Sarkar, Darsana Banik, June Maliah, Pampa Saha, Dipankar Dey And Kharaj Mukherjee.

But in his family, it’s not the first time working in the silver screen. “I have seen my father into producing and making films with many famous actors and actresses with whom I got acquainted with. Being impressed by them, it had encouraged me to learn many things regarding this profession. But still, there were always various questions raised in my mind about acting in childhood. I have seen my father making new films from time to time to serve new actors, actresses, side characters and main character actors in front of audience. With the passage of time, I came to understand that the method of making films is not only to break oneself and one’s thoughts, but to rebuild them. My arrival in the film industry is just when the audience’s view has changed. I have accepted my father as my idol and I want to follow his path also. The novel “Jaalbandi” became one of my favorite when I read it first. So I had a kind of a whim. Now the rest is upon the Audience.” Says Prince Prachurya , the main face of the upcoming suspense thriller “JAALBANDI”.
“The film follows Anish who takes up a job in an insurance company. He starts providing service like an agent and at the same time has to deliver on a promise and assure security to the helpless. But the course of his life changes in 72 hours, which makes him understand the exact value of life and relationships. He faces the harsh reality and gradually gets trapped,” said Pijush Saha, the “STARMAKER” in tollywood.
“The overall experience is very good; working with the team was a lot of fun. The shoot has begun after the pandemic, so there were many protocols we had to follow. I will also request the audience to see the movie in theatres. The audience will get to see a different new thing in this movie. It’s a commercial film but not like all other commercial Bengali films which is Pijush Da trying to do nowadays in his every project. It’s a different concept which I think the audience will like,” said Darshana Banik, the lead actress.
"I play a much layered character...she is an accomplished woman. She is smart, very clever and takes care of everything. She has a loyalty to relationships. She is quite paradoxical really. I really liked the script...they have kept the essence and modernised it...and Pijushda is a senior producer and director and I wanted to work with him. The high point of the film is that it is full of twists and turns. You can never predict what is going to happen next," said Payel.
Pampa says he always wanted to work with Pijush Saha and this film is a dream project for her. “Prince is like a dynamo. The energy he brings to the sets is just unparalleled,"
The DOP of the film is Gopi Bhagat. The music of the film will be composed by Amit-Ishan. The film will be released in Diwali 2021.
