It's an exciting day as new pictures of BTS members Jungkook and Jimin have surfaced online. The last picture that was released included a glimpse of RM and V from the official military website of South Korea. The same website has now released another unit picture, which captures Jungkook and Jimin looking sharp in their military uniforms. While there was an announcement that new or exclusive pictures of BTS members would not be released due to the intellectual property rights agreement with HYBE, the rule does not apply to group snapshots.

The recent pictures released by the military unit feature Jimin and Jungkook, who had enlisted under the companion soldier program. The BTS members were scheduled to train together, apparently under the guidance of the oldest member, Jin. The new picture captures them posing together. While Jungkook's face was mostly covered, his facial features were instantly recognised by ARMYs. Jimin had his head held high. The cutest moment in the picture, however? Jungkook was resting one hand on Jimin's shoulder.Â

On December 28, new pictures of V aka Kim Taehyung and RM aka Namjoon in their military uniform surfaced online. The BTS members appeared to look poised. These pictures were a breath of relief for ARMYs.Â
There was a tense period before when ARMYs were concerned about the sudden removal of BTS from 'The Camp' platform, which is known to provide updates about soldiers to their families. It was then revealed that the withdrawal of the BTS members from the website only occurred as a result of the intellectual property rights issue due to ARMYs repeated demands for frequent updates. The BTS members were also left off the star soldier list.
About BTS military service
Currently, BTS members Park Jimin and Jeon Jungkook began their mandatory military service on Tuesday. A day after members Kim Namjoon and Kim Taehyung entered the military, the last two of the Bangtan Boys were seen enlisting. Older members Suga aka Min Yoongi and J-hope (real name Jung Hoseok) were present to send off the Jungkook and Jimin.
J-hope, who had enlisted in the military earlier this year, also shared photos from yesterday's gathering, when all seven BTS members came together to see off RM and V. He shared some snapshots from Tuesday where Jimin and Jungkook can be seen with their newly shaved heads, right before entering military training.Â
"Time will fly," wrote J-hope as he shared the photos. Each member has to complete 18 months minimum in the military, during which they will have to lead a very different life from what they are used to as K-pop idols, staying away from their band members, fans and family.
