'Slumdog Millionaire' actress Freida Pinto got hitched to fiancé Cory Tran in a hush-hush wedding last year. The actress revealed this happy news on 'The Kelly Clarkson Show'. “I wasn't planning a big fat Indian wedding. It was just going to be something pretty and simple... But then COVID happened and it's still happening and we just realised we were going to be planning this for the rest of our lives and probably never doing it,” the actress told Clarkson.
Now, Freida has shared a series of photos from her wedding, and they're absolutely beautiful. Sharing the pictures on Instagram, Freida wrote, "Yes, yes, it's true. One year ago I married this gorgeous man of my dreams. No, we were not keeping it a secret or anything. We were simply just enjoying life and happily shared the news with anyone who asked..."

Freida wanted her wedding to be intimate and something she shared only with her closest friends and family, and the couple was able to achieve that. 'Enola Holmes' actor Sam Claflin commented on the post, "So happy for you both. So much love to all 3 of you" with a heart emoji, TV presenter Katie Couric wrote, "So happy for you!!!" Actress Olivia Munn showered Freida's post with a bunch of heart emojis.
Freida and Cory are expecting their first child soon, and the actress posted some pictures on her Instagram account where she flaunted her baby bump.

The actress is currently busy with her new animated show 'Mira, Royal Detective', weaved around with Indian culture and traditions. She also has a film 'Mr. Malcolm's List' in the pipeline.
