We all dream about a lot of things but only few shows the zeal to turn them into reality.

Fitness should be every woman's 'Fun Da'- Dr. Jyoti Shrivastava

Dr. Jyoti Shrivastava is a perfect example of this. With her hard work and determination she has been inspiring other women to do something meaningful for themselves. With her online fitness program 'Fun Da with Jyoti' she has been teaching fitness techniques to women without going out. Her aim is to help one million women in achieving a healthy lifestyle and fitness.

Not an ordinary work-out

Dr. Jyoti's usp is her not so usual and ordinary work-out style and this has been creating waves among women. She doesn't use any fancy equipment for exercise. She uses domestic items like water bottles, stick, buket, chair, cushion, ball and  wiper as props for cardio, strength training, stretching and power training to train her students with absolute ease within their homes. The impressive results of these unique work-outs are being shared on social media on regular basis by her happy clients. Another interesting aspect of this work-out is that it's not at all lesser effective than any other usual work-out. And that's what attracts women to get fit with Jyoti.

The journey of fitness

The journey from a techie to a fitness expert wasn't all rosy for Jyoti. "I have always loved dancing but made my career as a web developer and dance took the back seat. Responsibilities of marriage and my kid took a toil on my health. When I spoke with my husband Ujjawal Abhishek about this, he suggested me to do something which can help other women also. That's how I got into fitness", recalls Jyoti. Actually in Indian middle class household ladies are always concerned about their family's health but they never pay attention to their own fitness. Domestic chores and responsibilities never allows them to spare time for gym. She understood this issue and provided them an option to stay healthy without going out. Ladies liked this new concept and it became a hit.

Sucess and awards

Dr. Jyoti's hard work paid off in the form of numerous awards and felicitations. In 2021 she got best fitness expert, powerfull woman award, in 2022 best women health icon award and doctorate in women health and empowerment to name a few. She has also written a book named as 'Zero Stress Funda' which is Amazon's best seller.

Miles to go before rest

Marriage brings a lots of changes in a person's life and it happened with Jyoti also. Her pregnancy was complicated which raised her stress drastically. As a result her weight shot up and her physical as well as mental health started deteriorating. That's when she took charge of her health and lost twenty five kg of weight within eight months. This transformation inspired her to help other women. She did her certificate course in fitness and started her fitness training. Initially she used to train women in her studio only but later shifted to online platform so that maximum number of women can join her fitness classes. At present more than ten thousand women have become members of 'Fitness Fun da'. Jyoti's aim is to create interest among women for their health, so that they stop neglecting their fitness problems and start focusing on their health.
