Most vivid pink diamond exhibited in UAE

The 55.22 carat ruby Estrela de FURA, reported to be the largest and most valuable to ever appear at auction, is exhibited in Dubai.
The gem will be offered during Sotheby’s June 8th Magnificent Jewels auction in New York.
The cushion-cut diamond, which is mounted on a ring, has been described by experts as “glowing” and has the highest ranking possible for the quality of color.
It’s among the most chemically pure of all diamonds, which contributes to its transparency.
The Eternal Pink was mined by De Beers at the Damtshaa mine in Botswana. It took six months for artisans at Diacore in New York to fashion it.
