Vicky Kaushal will resuming filming for Chhava

Vicky Kaushal recently injured his arm while shooting for his upcoming film 'Chhava,' but now it looks like the actor is all set to be back again. According to recent reports, the actor will be back on set and will resume shooting for Chhava from March 9th.

The report in Times of India suggests that the actor is all set to return. “Vicky will start shooting for 'Chhava' from March 9th. He has recovered and is back to his strength and zeal. The team is currently shooting in Wai and Bhor and has started the shoot," the source informed the portal

The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna in a pivotal role, and the actress has recently wrapped the shoot for 'Chhava.' After finishing the shoot, she penned down a note of gratitude to the director, producer, and other team members of the movie.

Rashmika Mandanna, while speaking about Vicky Kaushal, shared, “It's been such a pleasure working with you. You are just too warm and kind (except for the last day where you were just taking my case), but most days you were amazing. I am kidding... you are such a gem. I will always wish the best for you, man. Was such a pleasure. Mom has told me to convey regards to you."

Earlier, while taking to Instagram, Vicky shared pics from the sets of 'Chhava' and wrote, “Last day on set for this year. Ending the year by completing the biggest action sequence of my career so far. 2023, you have been truly gratifying… Walking into 2024 hungrier than ever before!”

Recently, in an interview with GQ, Vicky Kaushal shared that he doesn't read a lot about himself. The oversaturation of celebrity culture has kept the 'The Great Indian Family' actor away from reading about himself on the internet. He mentioned that, barring film reviews, he rarely reads anything written about him as he feels it takes away the joy of acting.

On the work front, Vicky Kaushal will also be seen in an upcoming untitled romantic drama film. Helmed by Anand Tiwari and produced by Karan Johar, the film also stars Tripti Dimri and Ammy Vrik in the lead roles. 'Chhava' is based on the lifetime of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
