Northern Army commander assesses operational readiness of Delta Force in Ramban

Lieutenant General Suchindra Kumar, the commander of the Northern Army, examined the troops' operational readiness in Jammu and Kashmir's Ramban area on Thursday, ahead of the Amarnath Yatra.
The 52-day-long Amarnath yatra is beginning from June 29.
The Northern Command reported on X that the Army commander and the General Officer Commanding White Knight Corps carried out an operational review of the insurgent Delta Force.
According to the statement, Lieutenant General Kumar commended the soldiers for their valour and operational readiness and urged them to continue being highly vigilant and prepared.
Based in the Batote area, the Delta Force is part of the Rashtriya Rifles looking after the operational area of the region comprising Kishtwar, Doda and Ramban districts.
