Currently, there are 2,300 active patients in Mumbai out of which 260 are being treated in hospitals and 38 patients are on oxygen support. The city reported two deaths on Sunday. Meanwhile, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on July 17 congratulated Indians for achieving the 200 crore COVID vaccination milestone and said that it is a proud moment for the nation.
