The Air Quality of the city was in the 'moderate' category with AQI at 184.

In Mumbai's case, the AQI levels indicate the increased presence of PM2.5 which pose significant risks to public health.

The reduced visibility at Marine Drive raised concerns about its impact on residents of the city, Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray also raised an alarm about it.

Delving into the meteorological aspects can shed light on the factors contributing to the persistence of the smog layer. 

India Meteorological Department stated that the temperature will be hovering around 30 degrees Celcius And 18 degrees Celcius.

The weather department stated that the city and suburbs would be seeing mainly clear sky.

The dire air quality situation in Mumbai necessitates comprehensive policy reforms and proactive measures to curb pollution.
