Senior official of CR publishes book of public Relations in Indian Railways

Dr. Ashok Kumar Sing, Senior Public Relations officer of Central Railway, has published a book on Public Relations in Indian Railways. The book "Jan Sampark Aur Hindi" was released by State Governor Ramesh Bais in the Raj Bhavan premises on Tuesday, 11 June 2024.

On the occasion of the release of the book, author Dr. Ashok Kumar Singh, Senior Public Relations Officer, Central Railway said that "This is not just a book but a summary of the service I have given to Indian Railways. This book will be very beneficial for researchers and PR professionals and will bring a new revolution in the field of public relations."

The book-launch was attended by Central Railway's Chief Public Relations Officer Dr. Swapnil Nila, Deputy Chief Public Relations Officer Anil Kumar Jain, Public Relations Officer Michael Manuel Raj and publisher Shri Ramkumar.

In this book, he has described what is public relations, its origin, concept, form, scope and utility and its goals and policies. The book gives an analysis of the use and importance of public relations and Hindi in Indian Railways before independence and after independence. It also presents a detailed information about the history of Indian Railways as well as the use of modern technology on Indian Railways. Along with this, the author has also spoken of way in which social media has contributed in the development of Indian Railways.

"His book titled 'Jan Sampark Aur Hindi' will undoubtedly be a wonderful and very useful book. This book will prove to be a boon not only for the employees working in the Public Relations and Hindi Department but also for the researchers," said an official statement by Central Railways.
