International Women’s Day 2024: From Sobhita Dhulipala to Rasika Dugal, actors who rule OTT

The advent of OTT opened a fresh space for content that didn't make it to the big screen. This also allowed creators to experiment which led to the creation of strong women characters. Here's a look at the queens who rule the OTT space.

Sobhita Dhulipala started off her OTT journey with ‘Made in Heaven’, successfully delivered two seasons as Tara Khanna, a boss lady who runs a wedding planning firm. 

She also found fame in the ‘The Night Manager’ Hindi remake. 

After doing mediocre roles in films, Rasika Dugal unleashed her acting prowess in the web series 'Mirzapur'. She also essayed the role of a police officer in 'Delhi Crime'. 

Shefali Shah whose potential as an artist was not used to the fullest in films commanded attention on OTT with projects like ‘Delhi Crime’ and ‘Human’. 

Radhika Apte, despite being an established actress found fame in series like ‘Sacred Games’, and ‘Ghoul’ on OTT. 

Tillotama Shome, who made her acting debut with 'Monsoon Wedding' found fame on OTT with 'Delhi Crime' and 'The Night Manager'.

Amruta Subhash became an OTT favourite with her portrayal in 'Sacred Games' season 2. She also did series like 'Saas Bahu Achaar Pvt. Ltd.' and 'Bombay Begums'. 

Isha Talwar has done some commendable work in shows like 'Mirzapur' and 'Saas, Bahu Aur Flamingo'. 

Anupria Goenka has ruled the OTT space as a constant in multiple projects like 'Sacred Games', 'Criminal Justice', and 'Aashram' to name a few. 

Shweta Tripathi has time and again portrayed fearless women on screen. These include her performances in shows like 'Made In Heaven' and 'Mirzapur'.
