Shivin Narang, who made a special appearance in the film ‘Goodbye' and will be seen in web series titled ‘Criminal Minds' (which also features Tammanah Bhatia) loves the festival of Diwali. According to him, Diwali is all about spending time with family. He expressed that this year's Diwali is unique because it is a pandemic-free Diwali. Unlike the previous two years, there are no restrictions on going out and meeting people during Diwali. It is a festival that I look forward to every year. My mother will decorate the house with diyas and rangoli, and I would be pampering myself by splurging on a variety of sweets. I feel that no one should diet during Diwali. I am a Delhite and a foodie. I'll be eating everything, including a lot of ‘Kaju katli". When asked about the trend of eco-friendly Diwali, he says, "Crackers are prohibited in my hometown Delhi, which is a wise decision given the pollution and damage they cause".

On being asked about the festive fervor he says, "I think whenever Diwali comes, the whole months around it is like that, no matter whatever you are doing, festivities are all in your mind. The best part about Diwali are the gifts and chocolates, friends coming and partying after a long time. Whether you are working or not, Diwali is definitely in your mind. I wait for this festival for the whole year. Since childhood, it has been very special. Right from burning firecrackers to decorating our home to distributing gifts and sweets, doing something for society, and going to the temple. The whole month is very special as it just connects to our roots. My routine is really different, but, it's good my routine changes and we connect back to our roots, I really like the change".
