During a recent event where Nag Ashwin interacted with movie fans, he was asked about the comparisons between 'Kalki 2898 AD' and the Hollywood film "Dune." In response, the director said, "Yeah! (Laughed) That is because you see sand. Wherever you see sand, it looks like Dune."

The makers of Nag Ashwin's upcoming movie 'Kalki 2898 AD' have announced the new release date for the film. The film which was earlier scheduled to hit the theatres on May 9, 2024 will now be released in theatres on June 27, 2024. The film boasts of an interesting ensemble including Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Disha Patani and Kamal Haasan.
