South Korean boy band BTS member Jin is all set for his discharge from the military service ahead of the group's debut anniversary. The idol, who enlisted in December 2022 will be returning after 18 months with a grand event in place. As per reports, the other six members Jungkook, Suga, V, J-hope, RM, and Jimin will reunite with Jin and celebrate his return quietly.

According to Koreaboo, the reason for this reunion being low profile is due to safety measures. All the members who are also serving in the military have applied for leaves to welcome their eldest member home. Hence there will be no official discharge ceremony. Earlier, it was planned that they all would meet Jin in front of the military unit but they changed it due to safety issues.

Meanwhile, Jin will be hosting a meet and greet session with the ARMY at Jamsil Arena in Jamsil Sports Complex, Songpa-gu, Seoul on June 13 at 3 PM. A notice shared by Bighit Music on Weverse read, "This event was prepared in order to fulfill Jin's wish to spend meaningful time with ARMY in person on BTS's debut day. We invite you to join us as we express our gratitude for your unwavering love for BTS."

As per the label, "The first session (Meet-and-Greet with Jin) is a time for light hugs with Jin per request from the artist and is expected to last about three hours. If you win the raffle but do not wish for a hug, you can replace it with a handshake. Every precautionary measure will be put in place to ensure no unpleasant incidents occur during the event. We ask for your kind cooperation."

"The 2024 FESTA in-person event with Jin will be held for the Weverse shop GLOBAL purchasers of albums (including solo albums) released after "Proof." More details on the event will be provided in a separate notice," it added.

The second session will be streamed live on Weverse exclusively for ARMY MEMBERSHIP (GL, JP, US) holders on the same day at 8 PM and will last for about an hour.
