Karan Johar's ‘Koffee with Karan 8' has been the talk of the town since it premeired. The first episode of season 8 featured Bollywood's IT couple, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. The second episode is set to have Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol grace the couch. Both brothers have had an exciting year, with Sunny Deol's massive success with Gadar 2 and Bobby Deol's upcoming venture ‘Animal' starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna in pivotal roles.

The couch, which is infamous for reasons like, ‘manifestation', secret spilling, and a few ‘scandals' here and there, is seemingly calling out to Kriti Sanon. The National Award actress took to Instagram to drop hints about being an upcoming guest on the show.

The ‘Mimi' actress took to Instagram to post a story of herself drinking coffee with a caption that immediately had tongues wagging. "All coffee lovers! You know what I mean.." She said in her story, Can we expect a Kriti Sanon feature this season as well?

The actress had appeared on the talk show for its seventh season as well. Last season, Karan revealed that Kriti had rejected Lust Stories before it went to Kiara Advani. Revealing the reason behind it, Kriti said that her mother was a little uncomfortable with the story. "My mom said no to your role because she was not comfortable with the nature of the script, given the focus of it was only on sensual scenes. That is why she said better not to do it," Kriti shared.

She further added, "I come from a middleclass family and for them, controversial themes like these can be a little shocking. But I don't always ask my mother."

More recently, Kriti Sanon was making headlines for her views on male-led films. Kriti Sanon talked in an interview with Film Companion about how male-led films are positioned differently so that they make a lot of money. She said, "It's a bit of a circle because the male-led films are budgeted and positioned in a very larger-than-life grand-scale kind of format and they end up earning that money and I feel like someone needs to really take the front and the risk on positioning a female-led film on that scale."
